Two friends have created a proudly South African short animated series designed to make autism awareness accessible, relatable and genuinely helpful to all families and communities. Everybody, meet George!

It’s Disability Month and this is how @CityPowerJhb treats us. 3 persons with disabilities live in my house. No power since Sunday! They close the ticket without even coming! Human rights issue.
I literally hate @CityPowerJhb !!!!
My power has been off for almost 24hrs!!!
They keep cutting off my calls to the call centre. They can’t find my account details ! When I finally get someone who can help me after 4 hrs of calling . They don’t send ne the ref number 😡

On Friday, 21 November 2025, South African women will silence the nation.
We call on all women and members of the LGBTQI+ community across South Africa to refrain from all paid and unpaid work in workplaces, universities, homes, and communities to demonstrate the economic and social impact of their absence.
Because until South Africa stops burying a woman every 2.5 hours, the G20 cannot speak of growth and progress.
We demand that Gender-Based Violence and Femicide be declared a National Disaster. Not tomorrow. Not at another summit. Now!
Join the G20 Women’s Shutdown. Withdraw Your Power on 21 November. Spread the message across South Africa and beyond. Let’s show the world the power of women. #WomenForChange #WomenShutdown #UnburyTheTruth #G20

We are proud to launch Neurodivergence 2030, a movement that demands global recognition, inclusion, and empowerment of neurodivergent individuals — not just as beneficiaries of policy, but as active leaders, thinkers, creators, and change-makers.
This initiative is deeply rooted in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and will focus each year on specific agendas to narrow the gap between intention and impact. From education and employment to accessibility and health, neurodivergence must be included in every conversation.
With just 5 years left until 2030, time is running out. The world cannot afford to ignore the lived experiences of millions of neurodivergent people — especially in the Global South.
💥 This movement calls on:
✔️ Self-advocates
✔️ Academics
✔️ Universities
✔️ Neurodivergent-led organizations
✔️ Global bodies like the G20/D20, the Commonwealth, and the United Nations
We must stand united — not only until 2030, but far beyond.
✊ It’s up to us to be the change we wish to see. Neurodivergence 2030 starts now.
