Here we are, visiting Vagif Mustafazadeh’s flat in Baku.
It felt especially emotional to play our track ‘Kuytu’ on his piano. There’s something surreal about bringing a song influenced by him back to the very place where he composed. It was a very special full-circle moment.
Visiting Baku had been a dream of ours ever since KS started. We went there knowing we’d discover great music, but were amazed by much more: new friendships, beautiful architecture, incredible food and, of course, stunning cats.
Izmir, you were incredible. We already can’t wait to be back! Next up, our first time in Norway! We’re playing a full band show tomorrow at Bergen Internasjonale Kultursenter in Bergen.
Then Ankara, we’re coming back on 27 September for Ankara Cocktail festival at Club Mirador

Göç/me explores the contradictions of immigration. In a time of loneliness and pessimism, the song reflects on what compels one to leave, only to realise that migration alone can’t fulfil every dream or expectation.
