Today I feel blessed to finally have gotten the green light to start chemo! It had been postponed at least 4 times. Was injected with about 4 types of chemo & additionally w/steroids & anti nausea meds to cope w/side effects. Relieved to know I can begin the next step. 🙌🏻👊🏻🙏🏻🫶🏻💉

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has sent packages, prayers & well wishes & for checking in on me. I have been experiencing more pain in the last week than my whole life so far. Please be patient with me if I don’t respond immediately. I am doing my best to heal. ❤️‍🩹

Had my pulmonologist appointment today (bc of my chronic cough I’d been experiencing since early January.) The scan revealed my right lung is filled over half way with fluid, so they are putting me under at the hospital tomorrow morning to drain the fluids & put me on AB’s. 🫁🙏🏻 – at South Carolina, USA
