TAKE C.H.A.R.G.E. KLEIN!
The alarming rise in fires at area recycling and disposal facilities, frequently linked to discarded lithium-ion batteries, highlights the urgent need to address battery safety.
As the use of lithium-ion devices continues to grow, the risk of battery fires in our homes and workplaces is also increasing.
The Harris County Fire Marshal is raising awareness with its “Take C.H.A.R.G.E. of Battery Safety” campaign.
From the first sign of a problem, you could have less than a minute to escape a battery fire. The best way to be safe is to prevent a fire from starting.

FIRE FACT FRIDAY (11/1/24):

#firefactfriday

- Do not burn trash, plastics, or tires.
