Caden Dowler, when healthy, might be the best defensive player in the Big Sky Conference!

Carter Dahlke scores a TD in his first college game. The Bozeman Gallatin grad got wide open and caught a 25-yard pass from Florence-Carlton grad Patrick Duchien.
Dahlke appeared before the backups came in and is on the kickoff team.

@406coachmurdock Bronc Legend!
Junior Bergen has a real shot to make this 49ers team. Jacob Cowing just missed practice with a hip flexor and so far this camp, Bergen has done well to dispel the notion that he’s just a specialist. He caught two more passes, including a TD, from Brock Purdy in the red zone today. Has shown good spatial awareness and, yes, that punt returner job is wide open.
But one of the cooler developments of camp has been the process Bergen has shown as a WR

2nd Team Big Sky Receiver? Not on a single All-American list?
Good, I’d rather take a National Championship anyways.
