This deck is on sale again through Halloween!!!
Updated my collage style oracle deck and now it’s available to purchase and on sale for the rest of the month.

ALT Square collage art style oracle decks on top of a black and white graphic printed cloth. The visible cards have a featured word or phrase: “delays”, “anchor,” “armor,” “play”, “past life,” “movement,” and “desire.” There is also an unfolded rectangular paper with the card names and their meanings. Surrounding the cards are various jewelry, gemstones, a feather, and a bundle of rosemary. A tree overhead casts a shadow on the left side.
This downtime change the state of the internet in ways we’ve never seen before
We estimate that service restoration for #AO3 will take around 2 weeks but it could be up to 4 weeks. We are hopeful that we will be able to bring the site back up in a degraded state sooner. Refer to our status page for updates: otwstatus.org/

“The female cub, Shanti, was named for Shanti Malla, whom the Smithsonian identified as the first female forest guardian in western Nepal…
“‘We protect forests and wildlife for our children,” Malla said… ‘If there are no trees, there is no life.’”
Meet Shanti and Cinder!
The Smithsonian’s National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute has announced the names of its red panda twins, born May 29 at its conservation campus in Front Royal, Virginia, to parents Sequoia and Mow Mow.
The female cub, Shanti, honors Shanti Malla, a forest guardian who helps protect wild red pandas and their habitat in western Nepal. Her brother, Cinder, gets his name from his reddish-brown coloring.
Learn about the inspiration behind their names and the conservation work they celebrate. The Front Royal campus is closed to the public.

People don't understand how much VH1 contributed to cultural literacy. Yeah you were high on the couch watching hours of Pop Up video & I Love The (pick a decade) but you were also getting an education in cultural history. We could use more of that, now, & less tik tok slop.

Genuinely disturbing news - my friend Clara, who you might know as the Super Creek at Trackside, was abducted by ICE at the Rochester Airport on her way home from Uma week. Please read and share her story: facebook.com/share/18Rmm5SHK…

no but the premise of demonic possession as a metaphor for SA and the running theme throughout of all the ways misogyny and objectification ruin girls' ability to have agency and awareness of their own desires. don't think enough people appreciate the true sadness of this movie.
Amanda Seyfried says the marketing for Jennifer’s Body ruined what she considers a perfect movie.
Amanda Seyfried: “I can’t critique this movie. To me, it’s a perfect movie. It’s got balls.”
“Diablo Cody was outspoken and beautiful and smart and funny, and we were expressing a certain angst in a very, very specific comedic way, in a very specific genre.”
“The special effects were incredible. There were stunts, there was, like, everything that you could want, and girl-on-girl action.”
“If the critics criticized anything, it would be the marketing. The marketing sucked. It just did. And we all agree.”
“Karyn is a fierce advocate of women and storytelling. She’s able to enhance the relationships between women on film and TV. She’s very human and very sensitive, and I felt like she cared deeply about the story underneath all of it.”
“She got it all and she put it together so beautifully. And the marketing team cheapened it. Like it was just, you know, a romp, a gory romp. I think they ruined it.”
“I’m looking forward to the sequel. They’re working on it. I already said thumbs up. I was like, whenever you’re ready, I’m ready.”
“I want to play Needy. I love Needy.”
I’m old enough to remember buying an external harddrive that was 200 GB max, and that was an INVESTMENT for security purposes.
And this is on top of phasing out physical games? 😒
