One day, Hafsa, one of Muhammaad’s wives, caught him sleeping with his sláve, Maria. Hafsa told Aisha, and chaos tore through Muhammaad’s household. The conflíct between Aisha, Hafsa, and Maria was so intense that Muhámmaad refused to speak to his wives for 29 days. Even Allah and Umar had to step in to calm things down (see Quran, Surah At-Tahrim, verse 1 & 4). Allah kept revealing verses to justify Muhammad’s actions. Verse 1. "O Prophet! Why do you prohibit ˹yourself˺ from what Allah has made lawful to you, seeking to please your wives? And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful". Verse 4 then threatens the wives... "It will be better˺ if you ˹wives˺ both turn to Allah in repentance, for your hearts have certainly faltered. But if you ˹continue to˺ collaborate against him, then ˹know that˺ Allah Himself is his Guardian. And Gabriel, the righteous believers, and the angels are ˹all˺ his supporters as well" Whenever Muhámmaad needed to pull another stunt, conveniently, a new revelation from Allah would arrive! At some point, you have to ask yourself if these revelations were truly the will of an all-powerful God or simply Muhammaad’s own wishes dressed up as divine commands. The problem per se is not Muhammad but Mecca. There is no historical/ archeological evidence of there being a place called Mecca in the 7th century. The other problem is when and who wrote the hadiths. These were 300 to 600 years too late and written by people who did not live in Mecca or even Medina.
