Saturday night for museum cats. Billy the Kid - Mr Photogenic & Prudence Kitten - our adorable bolster!

7.49am, 24th October. Clocks go back to GMT tomorrow in the UK. Extra hour in bed, anyone?

Second power cut of the day is still ongoing. The first one was a voltage drop so we got dressed by fairy lights but this one is definitely OFF. Prudence is thanking her paws that we don’t have an electric can opener for her Sunday treat - tuna. 🙀

When your cat is shortsighted.

Camouflage?

Knighton, Radnorshire. 7.25am. 11.10.26

Hatching stuff in the textiles bag. Look no hairy bits.

Mmm . . . Welsh wool blankets. Must try these out. Now available with added Pru.

It’s fairy lights time.

Fairy lights time.

Should museum cats be allowed to sleep on beds?

Baby, it’s cold outside. Actually, it’s not but it is inside!

Museum is only open on Sundays during September.

We won! Watch this space for more Cats tomorrow!!

Knighton Show & Carnival 2026

When Prudence falls asleep on her @madridnantes ‘pillow’.

Window for Knighton carnival done. Theme is Shows & Musicals. We’ve done Cats and put in a plug for @ShropsCatRescue (and CP Newtown who don’t Tweet).

Sad to say that we will only be open on Sunday 16th this week. Yet another heatwave is due and we have no fans, let alone aircon.
