BREAKING: Polish police in the last few days have launched a special operation to secure the area along the Polish-Russian border near Kaliningrad amid warnings from Poland's Military Intelligence Services and allied intelligence services that possible sabotage or an incursion by armed groups is possible. Poland has also deployed GROM special forces to northeast Poland, which is an elite military unit prioritizing counterterrorism, hostage rescue, and special operations. Furthermore, Donald Tusk in a press conference today stated that shortly after midnight, the Polish border guard reported suspicious activity along the Polish-Russian border, prompting Polish forces to be immediately mobilized and successfully preventing an attempted provocation. This also followed a statement last week Thursday from the Polish deputy police commander, Tomasz Michułka, who issued an order for all officers to be on "full readiness" between November 2nd and November 8th due to the "operational situation across the country."

El Salvador has deployed 2,000 troops Haiti which arrived Wednesday to rescue 4 soldiers who were ambushed by gangs. The new deployment is in addition to the existing UN backed Gang Suppression Force, a joint operation already operating in Haiti. Before this deployment, the number of deployed people from all countries numbered around 1,400, with El Salvador fielding just 78. El Salvador has notified the Hatian government of the additional deployment but has not received any response. El Salvador has said the deployment is supported by "various countries and international organization" but President Bukele has also threaten to destroy Haiti's gangs in response to the kidnapping, the same way he destroyed the gangs in El Salvador.

BREAKING: Senator Roger Wicker of Mississippi and Kevin Cramer of North Dakota visited Kyiv on Friday with a pair of house lawmakers, where they met with several Ukrainian defense officials and suggested a deal to President Zelensky, according to the WSJ. In this alleged deal, Ukraine would temporarily pause from striking Russian energy assets; in return, the U.S. would expand Ukraine's Starlink satellite coverage up to roughly 300 inside Russia, which would help Ukraine take out ballistic missile launchers. It remains to be seen if these senators have the ability to make this deal happen, and if Trump is even willing to make such a deal given his increasing criticism of President Zelensky and Ukraine's continued strikes against Russian oil refineries

BREAKING: Donald Trump's envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner told Ukrainian officials last Friday that allowing Russia to export diesel is an attempt to get Putin back to the negotiating table and end the war, also telling them that Putin has so far been unwilling to negotiate an end to the war and that this deal could help restart the talks, according to Reuters. Donald Trump also wanted Ukraine to stop striking Russian refineries, with the idea being that once Ukraine has stopped these attacks, the U.S. could go back to Russia and say, "Ukraine has now stopped attacking your refineries, and we gave you this deal; now it's your turn to do something." This topic was only a small part of the conversation to get Russia and Ukraine back to the table, with security guarantees also being discussed during the meeting last Friday.

UPDATE: 🇵🇱 The emergency meeting at Poland’s Internal Security Agency (ABW) Counterterrorism Centre in Warsaw has now ended. Polish authorities say information about a potential assassination attempt targeting Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz is considered highly credible, following an assessment by the country’s security services. Officials confirmed that the report was received by email and forwarded to police through the State Protection Service (SOP). The meeting brought together ABW, police and SOP representatives to coordinate further action. Polish security officials stressed that they are treating the threat with the utmost seriousness, citing a high likelihood that the reported threats could be carried out. However, authorities have not disclosed the alleged attack plan or confirmed the identity of the person who submitted the report. Officials also refused to say whether the sender is an adult or a minor, explaining that police are actively investigating and that further details could compromise the investigation. The government says the information was made public to prevent speculation and ensure that citizens receive verified information from official sources. Authorities have not announced any arrests. The State Protection Service continues to ensure the Prime Minister’s security as the investigation proceeds.
