Know Your Neighbor, Explore Uganda
Today the 24th October, 2026, we mark one year since the official launch of the Know Your Neighbor Initiative. In a bid to celebrate the anniversary, we hereby introduce the KYNI jerseys. Below they are being presented by Rogers Kawenja, Tumusiime John Bosco and Zziwa Charles.

It was such an amazing session where we interacted with our Algerian friends and also told them about Uganda.
Current President of the KYNI @RogersKawenja and the former President of the Initiative @TumusiimeJ78580 share a light moment with the Ambassador of Uganda in Algeria, H.E J.C Alintuma Nsambu, during the celebration of Uganda’s 64th Independence in Algeria.
Last Friday, 9th October, 2026, the members of the Know Your Neighbor Initiative performed traditional dances during the Independence celebrations organised by the Ugandan Embassy in Algeria. It was such an amazing moment.
As the Know Your Neighbor Initiative – Explore Uganda, we extend our warmest congratulations and heartfelt wishes to His Majesty, the new King of Tooro on this historic occasion.
May his reign be marked by wisdom, unity, cultural pride, peace and progress.
At the start of this summer holiday, a group of Uganda students in Algeria and members of the Know Your Neighbor Initiative visited the historical places in Miliana.
This is one of the initiatives agenda in a bid to promote cultural exchange.

On 27th September, Uganda joins the world in celebrating World Tourism Day 2026 under the theme, “Digital Agenda and Artificial Intelligence to Redesign Tourism.”
This year’s celebration will explore how technology and innovation can create smarter experiences, strengthen tourism businesses and transform how destinations connect with travellers.
