I am honored and thrilled that Nuclear Decisions has been named the co-winner of the Robert Jervis Best International Security Book Award for 2023. It's deeply meaningful to me to receive an award named for the late Robert Jervis.

I’m excited to share a new publication co-authored with @lachlanmckn on how Russian technological assistance to North Korea could potentially bolster the development of its nuclear program. Read here👇
Russia’s growing technological assistance has the potential to bolster North Korea’s development of ICBMs and SLBMs, nuclear-powered submarines, and low yield nuclear weapons. buff.ly/qK0qcTa

This talk was 🔥. Can’t wait for the book.
Thank you @Koch_LL for sharing your research with us on nuclear threats. In our latest Wednesday Seminar, Lisa asks, “When leaders issue nuclear threats, how are those threats perceived?” She continues to talk about the spectrum of credibility on which these threats may fall and the reactions they inspire.

Grateful for this very kind review of my book by @Hbounassif, whose own book deeply inspired mine: "Solidly grounded in firsthand research, Grewal's work is also comparative and theoretically inclined... a welcome addition...and a must-read" muse.jhu.edu/pub/119/article…

Second, @Koch_LL compares national support for the #DeathPenalty in the United States with support for #Nuclear strikes against enemy countries, finding that core beliefs about blame and punishment can influence support for the use of force. journals.sagepub.com/doi/ful…
