Kaison Koenenn

Mississippi’s Top Dual-Threat Quarterback — Hancock Hawks’ KAISON KOENENN 🦅 What Hancock accomplished Friday night wasn’t just a win — it was history. And at the center of it all was the Hawks’ senior leader who continues to put together one of the most impressive seasons in the entire state of Mississippi. On the road at West Jones — a place where opponents rarely come away with a victory — Kaison Koenenn delivered a performance that stamped his name into Hancock history. A playoff road win. A complete takeover in every phase. A senior quarterback who refused to let his season end. ——— ⭐ THE WEST JONES PERFORMANCE 17-for-25 | 170 Yards | 2 TD 33 Carries | 190 Yards | 1 TD That’s 360 total yards on a cold November night against one of the toughest defenses in 6A. • A 23-yard touchdown to set the tone • A grinding, physical 33 carries — breaking tackles and moving chains • Multiple clutch runs to ice the game with under five minutes to play • And the dagger: a 45-yard game-winning strike in the 4th quarter A masterclass in leadership. A masterclass in toughness. A masterclass in what a true dual-threat quarterback looks like. ——— 📚 A HISTORIC SENIOR SEASON With nearly 3,600 total yards and 37 touchdowns, Kaison continues to lead the entire state in yards per game. Multiple local sports writers have highlighted his season — calling it one of the most prolific and impactful years in Hancock Hawks history. They’ve praised his toughness, his command of the offense, and the way he has carried this team week after week. Arm talent. Rushing power. Consistency. Leadership. Big-moment poise. And he’s doing all of this while still being one of the most overlooked seniors in Mississippi. But the numbers don’t lie. The film doesn’t lie. This is the state’s top dual-threat quarterback. ——— 🏈 THE STORY ISN’T FINISHED Hancock is still alive in the playoffs — and the Hawks roll into this week with the same edge: A senior who refuses to back down. A team feeding off his leadership. A season that keeps rewriting the record books. Remember the name — KAISON KOENENN. Hancock’s heartbeat. The state’s top dual-threat QB.
