You all won’t admit it, but I will. Matt Reeves hogging the Batman character and taking 7 years to release a fucking Batman movie is costing the DCU’s success It’s hard for general audiences to care about fucking Clayface when he can’t even fight Batman. Reeves is stingy af.

It's really frustrating that barely anyone has ever decided to tackle what this molecular bond meant for the characters from this point and on. In future stories both Brock and The Other could still detach from each other normally which is kinda lame to think about

I think this is still the best explanation on the symbiote race that we ever got in the books The explanation that they're addicted to strong emotions that are produced by their hosts is also interesting to this day because it justifies why it allowed Eddie to be more violent

I enjoy how Planet of the Symbiotes investigated this at first only for the resolution to be a positive reinforcement that Venom should keep existing Because then, 3 mini-series later, Eddie eats someone's head off and the point is proven once again. This bond IS his ruin
