Plastics Pollution is also one of the pollutants which leaches the POP, BPA and Phthalates which are used in hundreds of products, such as vinyl flooring, lubricating oils, durability of plastics and personal-care products (soaps, shampoos, hair sprays).
Less than half of the world's countries (84 in total) have legally binding controls to limit the production, import, and sale of lead paints.
There is progress.
Around 35 more countries are in the process of drafting these essential laws.
