Yes, reports from The Hollywood Reporter confirm it. The Flash originally planned an ending where after Barry's father was acquitted, Keaton's Batman and Calle's Supergirl met him on the courthouse steps. A later version added Cavill's Superman and Gadot's Wonder Woman. Gunn and Safran had those changed to align with the new DCU reboot, leading to the Clooney cameo instead.
