My take is, people on the other side of the world are screaming that Notre Dame is burning down, and there is threatening violence on the streets of Paris. They are wrong! I’ve spent all day walking around multiple parts of the city and it’s wonderful. Lots of who dats, smiles, a good day. If it was really dangerous I wouldn’t be taking my kids around with me. Don’t believe the hype

Just walked 2 miles through Paris. There seems to be some level of anxiety about the protests. Lots of shops boarded up, and a tremendous police presence. But so far, there has been no sign of any trouble. Hopefully it remains that way.
