The third time I’ve seen the northern lights in London. Not the brightest #aurora, but still pretty special given the light pollution. Pics taken around 10.15pm, 19 Jan 2026.

I did something a little dramatic & shaved for the first time in 12 years so I could start fresh with a moustache for @MovemberUK

Sad to hear about the passing of Councillor Neil Wilson. A dedicated public servant, he’ll be hugely missed in Plaistow where he was a councillor for many years and wider Newham community.
Happy Star Wars Day! Some photos from an event quite a long time ago, but not quite so far away! ✨

Happy #WorldNakedGardeningDay.
It's all about body positivity, and a bit of light hearted fun to remind people to love the skin you're in and connect with nature.
So whether you have houseplants or a garden, I hope you have a blooming marvellous one! #NakedGardeningDay
I’ve enjoyed many a wisteria wander around London and Cambridge over the years. Gorgeous display. 💜🤍🍇

The daffodils in the garden were lovely a few weeks ago. Being given a bulb to grow at school was one of the ways I got into gardening. #GardenersWorld
Also tried cherry blossom tea for the first time. Not sure I’ll replace my usual brew, but was fun trying! #gardenersworld
My cherry blossom (flagpole - Prunus Amanogawa) has been stunning for a couple weeks. The leaves are coming through now but it’s been lovely enjoying the flowers in the garden and to take some creative portraits with flowers in my hair too. #GardenersWorld
Yesterday I visited Chalet Woods, Wanstead Park, to see the bluebells.
Please remember keep to the paths so as to not damage the bluebells and bulbs. It takes years for them to establish.
You have a couple weeks to see them in bloom.💙
Magnolia is a stunner, would love to have one in the garden, so I can also pick some petals to eat too! I picked a single petal (about to fall off) in a nearby park for a nibble! #gardenersworld

A possible creative project for this week if you fancy it:
🌿gather a few leaves on a walk/in your garden
🥚stick lightly to a blown egg using a gluestick
🦿 wrap egg & leaf tightly in part of an old pair of tights
🧅make your own food dyes using red cabbage, turmeric, onion skins etc. Results:
Happy World Book Day! 🦊📚

I love this picture from @imageplotter - makes it look like I've joined the police and my partner and I are going door to door making enquiries
Yes Frankie! And looking great in the red sequins too. #TheTraitors
Surely you’d have a longer chat and interrogation than that?! #TheTraitors
