“The most perturbing question for the liberal is the question of violence. The liberal’s initial reaction to violence is to try to convince the oppressed that violence is an incorrect tactic, that violence will not work, that violence never accomplishes anything. The Europeans took America through violence and through violence they established the most powerful country in the world. Through violence they maintain the most powerful country in the world. It is absolutely absurd for one to say that violence never accomplishes anything.” -Kwame Ture, The Pitfalls of Liberalism

Share this and tell folks to study it. This is a common tactic employed by the reactionary forces of the state to try and discredit protest movements everywhere.

Every anti-imperialist should, at some point, learn about the importance of the Black Panther Party and their solidarity with the oppressed across the world. They were deeply internationalist and explicitly viewed the struggle of Black Americans as part of a global anti-colonial movement.
October 15, 1966, the Black Panther Party for Self-Defense was founded as a revolutionary Black organization to fight capitalist oppression & for self-determination. It stood in solidarity w/ oppressed people around the world against Western imperialism & settler colonialism

This is what I mean when I say racism is structural and systemic; black city and a democratic & liberal stronghold, but still practicing racialized policing methods.

NEW: Top allegations from the FBI whistleblower disclosure I received: -Trump reportedly ordered the FBI to investigate and arrest LA protesters exercising their First Amendment rights, despite no evidence of a crime or threat. -On a separate occasion, former Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove ordered FBI employees to open an investigation into anti-ICE and CBP protestors based solely on their First Amendment activity. -FBI leadership believed the investigations were illegal and moved forward anyway. -Employees feared retaliation if they objected. -FBI resources were diverted from violent crime, drug trafficking, and organized crime to pursue law abiding protesters.
