🎃👻💀HAPPY #HALLOWEEN💀👻🎃
#DFW expect cloudy skies with temperatures in the low 70s and upper 60s for trick-or-treating. A sprinkle is possible but I think most of the area will have a dry and wicked evening!

👻HALLOWEEN WEEKEND FORECAST👻
Models are somewhat inconsistent on the exact timing regarding rain at the end of this week though #Halloween.
WHAT I DO KNOW: a subtropical jet is strengthening and increasing the moisture content and tropical moisture from Vance in the eastern Pacific will be ushered into North #Texas. There will be clouds, rain, and cooler temperatures due to the rain/clouds.
WHAT I DON'T EXACTLY KNOW: When the rain will end. Timing as of now looks to start #Thursday through #Saturday. Some models show another round of rain during the trick-or-treat hours, while some don't.
Stay tuned for updates!🎃🪦☠️💀🐈⬛

🎃THIS WEEK'S FORECAST (10/26 -11/01)🎃
It has been a beautiful Monday across North #Texas! Once the sunsets tonight at 6:43pm, temperatures will dip into the 70s with a mild wind from the southeast around 5 mph. Most of the area will just see clouds in the sky, but counties to the west of I-35 have a 10-30% chance of rain into Tuesday morning.
Tomorrow morning will be mild; lows across the area will range from the upper 50s to the low 60s. However, temperatures will climb throughout the day, highs will reach into the low 80's in the afternoon. Expect clouds in the sky and winds from the southeast around 5 to 10 mph.
More rain is in the forecast this week as an upper-level low pressure system continues to shift into our area. A subtropical jet will also pump in a sufficient amount of moisture in the region by the end of the week. This will promote the opportunity for showers and storms.
Forecast models are timing the biggest rain event on Friday. However, models are inconstant on Saturday, which is #Halloween. As of now, rain does look possible for trick-or-treaters, but it's too early to say if Halloween will be a washout or spook-tacular. Stay tuned because the forecast models are subject to change!

Visited my fellow meteorologist at @NWSFortWorth today.
It was a HAIL of a time! The 3D printed hail stone I’m holding is a replica of one of the largest stones recorded in history in North Texas…it was 5.6 inches in diameter!!!
