Drama is powerful.
After all our sessions, teachers comment on how the reluctant or anxious children were completely different…’they were joining in, smiling, laughing, playing! I’ve never seen them like that!’
Drama is POWERFUL.

Cannot wait for my wonderful young actors from @LCAStage to perform/compete @CourtyardArts 🎭
Been a joy to direct them in an ensemble version of Three Kings by Stephen Beresford 👑
Which if I’m not mistaken is a wonderful @NickHernBooks published play? 📚

As long as you’ve put the work in beforehand 💪🏻
Who gets a part, comes down to a series of uncontrollable factors, that determine who is ‘right’ for the role 🎭
You have no idea what these are and have to develop the ability to shake it off, if you don’t get the job 🧡

Take a moment to realise just how far you’ve come from where you were, rather than focus on how far you are from where you want to be 🧡

ALT A bright electric blue sky, with a large fluffy white cloud, can be seen above the exterior of the Globe Theatre. The thatched roof of the Globe is streaked with green moss, and shadows are cast on the white lime plaster and timbre walls.
