I want to acknowledge coach Kyle Surprenant and his coaches for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to pitch at John A. Logan College. I also want to thank Coach Dan Fitzgerald and his staff for the opportunity to join the Big 12 champion Kansas Jayhawks. I am truly honored and blessed that they believe I can help them win and be part of the Jayhawk culture. Lastly, I would like to thank my family, friends, and God who were able to help me get to this point. Rock Chalk!

@dabentley82 and I make 5 BOLD PREDICTIONS for the @IHSA_IL season!!!
⚾️ We both think @NCIronBaseball will win the Class 4A state title behind @GavinSwartz24, @j0shj0nes_1, @LCorbin99, @beckett_weber @5Heineman @drewstevens08, @GavinMichaels10, @theCarterHarris @andrew_naour!
⚾️ Potential MLB Draft selections for Swartz, Jones, @croadz77, @KSchatsiek2026 and @RDuncheon
⚾️ I say @landonthome25 is going to be drafted higher than his HOFer dad and David says Landon will turn down his draft selection to keep his commitment to @FSUBaseball! I also beg Landon to follow his dad’s footsteps to @ICC_CougarBsbll!
⚾️ David pencils in @othsbaseball 2026 C @AsherCantu for 15 doubles and 30 RBIs! Still #uncommitted coaches!
⚾️ I predict that @OEHSbaseball OF @DomBattista14 will win @Gatorade Player of the Year in Illinois
⚾️ David sees big things happening for @MVRamsBaseball behind Cale Maurer, @T_McClure15 and @maxwell_nowak28
⚾️ I predict that @LTBaseball RHP @DodgerFriedrich will be the first 2028 off the board this Fall!
⚾️ Finally, David sees a bright future for @huntley_bball thanks to @ziebell_kyle9, @SeanDabe_34, @owenbork17 and @BorkowskiDrew
