Fiona is in the first year of a part-time Professional Doctorate engaged in research to advance food safety culture in hospitals. Her specialisms and research interests include food safety culture, behavioural change and food safety in hospitals.

She is the Technical Director for ZERO2FIVE, the Food Industry Centre at Cardiff Metropolitan University in Wales.
