Asked Jaden McDaniels about how you don't get to choose where you're drafted, and why he's now twice chose to extend in Minnesota.
"Draft process I ain't know where I was going. This was actually the team I was trying to stay away from. So I came here not knowing how it was gonna be."
Did you want to stay away because they were bad at the time?
"Yeah they was just bad. They was bad as fuck."

Enjoy 32 seconds of Anthony Edwards trash-talking the entire Miami Heat bench + fans tonight
Game 1 and the Greek Philosopher already back #damn
Giannis gives Anthony Edwards his flowers after his 45 point performance:
“They have two players that can make shots and your spirit gets defeated. — I feel we didn’t make it as tough as possible for him. There was times we did and he still made it. I feel we got discouraged and the game became easier for him. — He’s one of the best shooting guards in the league”

Seemed to me like a more intense and animated version of Anthony Edwards tonight. Asked him what was behind that.
"A player on they bench was talkin trash... He was talkin pretty crazy. And then when I started talkin to him he didn't really have too much more to say. And I don't really like that. Like, if you gonna talk shit, keep talkin shit. Don't get quiet."

🎙️ Naz Reid on his first win with the Hornets: "It means a lot."
"Could have been more efficient, but first game, I'll take what I can get. We won the game. That's all I gotta ask for. Teammates supported me. Family and friends came out. I had fun. We got more to go, though."
