I am going with him. I will probably roll my eyes several times over the next years. But I won't be worried he's going to hold a senate seat to make money. I feel reasonably sure that we will be able to contact him to get things done, even if we aren't big donors. If the time comes and I want him to vote for/against something, I feel reasonably sure I'll be able to reach out to his office and explain that & be heard.
I'd prefer a senator I can trust. I trusted John Cornyn. I don't trust Ken Paxton and not voting is Not an option.
