It's official! I'm a registered Libertarian write-in candidate for Wisconsin Governor! For those who haven't voted yet and want an alternative to the major parties, I'd appreciate your support on November 3. Write-In Reese Wood for Governor! Not endorsed by LPWI. – at South Beloit, IL

Republicans are so desperate to appear Libertarian that they put our logo on their convention screens... ... Still trying to convince people you’re libertarians? Pro-tip: like Trump’s sneakers... no one’s buying it.

370 members of both parties voted to keep spending at deficit levels, two weeks after the debt crossed $40 trillion. There is no opposition party on spending. That's the whole problem. The only honest fix is cutting expenditures.

Between gerrymandering, ballot access barriers, signature challenges, and the many other ways the two major parties protect their political advantage, independent and third-party candidates are too often kept off Wisconsin ballots. We also recognize that there are times when both major parties fail to offer a candidate who represents your values, even during a primary. Too often, voters are left choosing between whichever entrenched partisan each party puts forward, rather than someone they genuinely support. The Libertarian Party of Wisconsin believes voters deserve a better option. That's why we've launched the Wisconsin None of the Above Initiative. A "None of the Above" option would give voters a clear, measurable way to say, "None of these candidates have earned my vote," while still participating in the election. Rather than forcing voters to choose the "least objectionable" candidate or leave a race blank, it recognizes that rejecting all listed candidates is itself a meaningful choice. Every Wisconsin voter deserves the freedom to cast a vote that reflects their convictions, even when none of the listed candidates do.
