3-step approach for improving the recycling of #thermoplastics: 1️⃣Production of high purity thermoplastics 2️⃣ Automated multi-class sensor-based sorting and separation of Flame Retardant Plastics 3️⃣ Recycling of by-product Antimony through catalytic conversion and hydrometallurgy

In #LIFEPlasPLUS we will be working with 2 end-of-life waste streams: 🔌Waste electronic & electrical equipment sector: 19M tons 🚗End-of-life vehicles produced: 29M tons The 2 industries' usage accounted for 48M tons over total production of 438M tons plastic waste in 2017.
