It's not every Sonic Fan, but with the way Discords, Reddit and such work, it's the moderators of these places that are in control of the community, and they've always got an agenda. They kick out anyone they don't approve of, and all that's left are those who either agree with their world view, or those who hold their tongue so they aren't kicked out.
They worm their way into the productions as well in some manner, There is always someone going "you can do this or that, because it's against modern day views"
It's not gonna last forever since these people only cause the franchises they infest to get less and less popular, and make less money with time. Enough people are getting wise to this now, and you can see the results all though out the entertainment Industry, stuff keeps failing because a lame agenda is getting pushed, instead of the priority being quality entertainment.
Sooner or later the entertainment industry will either have the course correct or much is going to come crashing down, and it'll be replaced by the people who can actually do a better job.

The amount of posts I've seen from Japanese Sonic fans, expressing their outright disdain over the removal of Amy's love for Sonic in the bio....puts such a relieving smile on my face.
Not only did I rarely see any Japanese fans of Sonic online at all up until this point(because to my knowledge, the franchise isn't popular in Japan), but to see them all collectively come together to passionately spread the same message to SEGA is mind-blowing. This is an event I've never seen before.
For those of you who aren't aware of me, Sonic The Hedgehog is the franchise that brought me into gaming. Its the closest franchise to my heart, and I've been expressing this exact same message about Amy Rose for years now. Amy Rose is a wonderful character that I loved ever since I first played Sonic Heroes(my very first Sonic game) on my PS2. I also really enjoyed her presence in the anime, Sonic X! And one of the very reasons I loved her character was her love and devotion to Sonic. Her willingness to challenge Sonic by chasing him all around the world to earn his affection added so much light and charm to her character that no one else in the Sonic Universe could replicate.
But over the course of the last 10 years, this been this growing fundamental misunderstanding of Amy's character(typically among the western side of the fanbase) by falsely claiming that Amy's love for Sonic was "all that there was to her character", when that was never the case. And on top of that, when Frontiers came out, many tried to label this removal of her love as "progression" as if Amy(for whatever reason) is *required* to move on from Sonic in order to grow as a character. As if it was impossible for Amy to be a strong, independent, female character as long as her motivation is still tied to the boy she likes.
There's hundreds of characters in fiction who share their love with the world. There's hundreds who are nurturing and caring. But Amy's love for Sonic was what made her special. That was what made her iconic. That was what made her stand out amongst every other character in fiction who shared the rest of her character traits. This is not something to be ashamed about. It was a beautiful aspect of her character that should be preserved and protected.
I'm not sure how possible this is at this point in the modern era, but my truest desire is to see Amy(as well as every other character) return to who she really is back in during the era of 1998 to 2009. This is was the real Amy Rose, and nothing would make me happier than to see her finally return to who she really is, instead of a western writer's false impetration of her.

Okay, this has exploded a lot more than I thought it would- 😅
While we have our usual detractors, I'm surprised and happy that there are so many of you who want change, just as much as I do; thank you for showing your support.
We just need to remember to make our approach different, to come to debates with level heads and consideration, as well as a desire to actually change things rather than make enemies. If we can actually organize and keep all that in mind, we may be able to get things done after all.

If the past month or so has shown us anything, it's that SEGA no longer has your best interests at heart. They are turning #SonicTheHedgehog into something that it is not, and like with Amy's recent bio changes, they're turning it into something that's not meant for anyone other than themselves.
Ian Flynn, Evan Stanley, Chris Hernandez, and so many more are all lying to you, hiding the fact that they're turning Sonic into their own political manifestos. And the worst part is a lot of Sonic fans are backing them up; from big streamers to even the little guys, Sonic fans are constantly backing SEGA's bad plays, and in too many cases, they're not doing so in a civil manner to say the least.
We need to do something, we need to stand up to these bullies and demand changes that stick before Sonic is destroyed forever. However, we can't do this like others have before; we cannot be like SWLU, which is full of extremists who are less concerned about trying to change things for the better and are more concerned about making enemies. We need a new coalition, one full of level-headed conservatives, Sonic fans and general media enjoyers alike, who are willing to petition, to still call out injustice and bring it to the public's attention, but also to try to reason with people and change their minds, all so that change can actually occur. We also need to start creating our own things, from comics to videos to whatever else; we need to create things that are better than what we are getting, to show people that there is a better way for this franchise we love so much to operate, to inspire people to be better versions of themselves and to push corporations to give the people what they actually want.
So this is my call to action: to any (non-extreme) conservative Sonic fans or to any other Sonic fans who are just fed up with SEGA's poor decision making as of late (I do not think we need to be divided on this by political affiliation), band together and rise up, form groups and create things that inspire people to be better, that calls out SEGA when they do wrong, but also pushes them to change for the better as well. And to any big commentators outside of the Sonic fandom, we desperately need your help; those of us who are calling out SEGA are vastly outnumbered (by psychopaths who namely push for violence against those they disagree with), and it's incredibly difficult to get our message out there; please talk about this issue, back us up, because any help in this fight will be more than appreciated.

After being rejected by @press_engine and @Keymailer for being a small creator with just as small "metrics", and Indie Developers seeming running away from Xbox Series S....I'm afraid no one wants me to test games for this dying brand. Depressing for sure....
