The Halt : Thousands of footfalls, everyone with a destination. Some leave, some arrive. That old single fluorescent tube, flickering for years, no one bothers to change it. A few stray dogs walk the track, searching for the day's last meal. Tonight the sky is brighter than usual, firecrackers bursting above, yet another ordinary night at a nameless railway halt. An old beggar makes his bed in the corner under a torn blanket, without a goodnight to anyone. No one has ever asked him, "What is your idea of life?" Maybe it's better that no one did.
