Dear OHSSA,
Annette Echikunwoke learned to throw hammer in Pickerington OH. She competed in the OH State Hammer Championships & had a stellar career at Univ. of Cincy. On 8/6/24 Annette won a Silver Medal at the Olympics. Please reconsider the decision to eliminate the hammer.

Hammer is theoretically the simplest throwing event, yet the hardest to do.
Once you initiate the throw, there is nothing else to do. Yet, the urge to do *something* may be the greatest of all throwing events.
