So great catching up with friends at #bmes2024!
Don Gun Oh is representing our lab and presenting his first poster at a national meeting. #vasculardiscovery2024
Great job Dr. Zandi representing @BrownLab_NCSU at #vasculardiscovery2024
I’m a little late, but thanks @AMSchmidt_NYU for your excellent keynote address at our 29th Annual Emory Cardiology Research Symposium last Friday. @emoryheart @emory_heart
NAVBO @vascularbiology I also appreciated the chance to share lessons I've learned along the way. navbo.org/lessons-from-the-l…
Thanks @vascularbiology for featuring my lab this month. navbo.org/members-labs/
Website updates. I never would have imagined 15 years ago when I started grad school at Georgia Tech my name would someday be listed as faculty in those same programs.

My lab is still looking for a postdoctoral fellow to join our team. We have a variety of projects in vascular and muscle biology and peripheral artery disease. Contact me if interested.
It is finally official, the lab recived our first R01 from the NIH this week! We are excited to start our work exploring vascular biology, satellite cells, and exercise therapy.
Looking for a postdoc to join our lab at intersection of vascular and muscle biology in peripheral artery disease. One project looks at the role of satellite cells in exercise therapy for patients and invovles animal models as well as single cell sequencing of human samples.
I'm happy to announce our paper of RAGE, satellite cells, and vessel growth was finally published. ahajournals.org/doi/full/10.…
What a fun suprise to find that @ASMEJournals mailed me a paper copy of the issue with our article. Great work @SophiaMavris.
The @CoulterBME website was updated, and I'm officially listed as a program faculty. I feel so honored to have my name alongside all the great mentors who helped me earn my PhD and get to where I am today. bme.gatech.edu/bme/faculty/L…
After checking eRA commons hourly for the past few days, I was happy to finally see posted a fundable score for my first R01 studying heterogeneous satellite cell populations in peripheral artery disease and exercise. 🎉
Congrats @rudygleason2. It was an honor to have you as my mentor.
Rudy Gleason has developed courses on global health challenges & bioengineering, mentored students working to improve health/medicine in Ethiopia, & built collabs w/scientists in sub-Saharan Africa. bme.gatech.edu/bme/gleason-t…

Congratulations to @SophiaMavris on her review article in @ASMEJournals! When COVID cut her undergrad research short, she started working on this with me and now has a 1st author publication at the end of her first 2 semesters of grad school! doi.org/10.1115/1.4051119
