Our first cover! So happy to see our work featured on Autophagy. Many experiments, discussions, nd surprises went into this study. Forever grateful to @rajgodhuli ,Kumkum nd everyone who contributed to this journey into a new area for our group. Here’s to many more! @LabRajyaguru
Super stoked to see our recent autophagy story on the cover! This is the first cover-page contribution from the group, and we are elated. Hearty congratulations to @gayatrimohanan, who shepherded this study in a field where we are novices, along with Kumkum Nag and other authors.

Grateful to our funders for showing faith in us. Thankful to experts in the field who helped us with reagents. We appreciate the editor/reviewers for the opportunity to improve the study. Finally, IISc has played a pivotal role in our evolution as a scientific group.

We identify the regulation of autophagy genes (ATG 1/2/9) at the level of mRNA translation in response to genotoxic stress. A low-complexity sequence (RGG motif) containing translation repressor protein Sbp1 acts as a negative regulator of autophagy during replication stress.

Time to bid farewell to @artistaa_shweta. Congratulations to her for submission of thesis. She will be taking a well deserved break to unwind and recharge. Wishing her all the very best. This is the third PhD student from lab moving on for good in as many months.
Another one leaves the nest, in this season of farewells. Wishing Gayatri (leading from the front in the pic) all the very best as she moves on to the next phase of her career @DukeU after fantastic PhD research work @iiscbangalore. Keep the flame burning👍🏾
