I’ve been also thinking about many of the changes made to movies released soon after 9/11 that either included the Twin Towers or parts that referenced flying near skyscrapers, with certain scenes edited, reshot, or simply deleted. Here’s one example: youtu.be/jc0eP7ausWE

These are visuals from a special tribute issue called “Heroes,” which was published by Marvel Comics in October 2001, memorializing the bravery and sacrifice of the true heroes of 9/11.

🚨TEXAS SWITCH ALERT!🚨 Actor Ronald Lacey disappears behind the wooden pillar and is sneakily replaced by stunt double Romo Gorrara for the jump out the window. Blink and you'll miss it! One of the many hidden practical effects in RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK.

In 1942, James Cagney was told to just walk down the stairs in "Yankee Doodle Dandy." Instead, he decided to improvise a tap dance down the slick marble steps. The crew tried to stop him due to the high injury risk. He ignored them, nailed it in ONE take.

To perform the crystal ball trick in Labyrinth (1986), juggler Michael Moschen stood behind David Bowie with his arms extended and performed the routine completely blind.

The banana peel you tossed on the trail is going to get a bear killed. Every single apple core and orange peel left on a trail teaches a nearby bear that human hiking trails are a food source. In bears, it is almost always fatal. Wildlife managers have a phrase for it: "A fed bear is a dead bear." Once a bear associates humans with food it keeps coming back. It gets bolder. It approaches campsites. It gets too close to people. At that point there is no rehabilitation, no relocation that reliably works. The bear gets euthanized. The bear didn't do anything wrong. It learned exactly what we taught it. Leave no trace means leave no trace. Pack it in. Pack it out. Every time.

Only 16 episodes of Hong Kong Phooey aired between Sept to Dec 1974. I could’ve sworn there were hundreds. Scatman Crothers (The Shining/Cuckoo’s Nest) voiced Penry: mild-mannered janitor by day, ass-kicking superhero by… also day. He sang the theme, too. You know the words.

“Hey, boss, I’ve got an idea for a new piece of playground equipment.” “Let’s hear it.” “Kids grab a chain and hold on for dear life while spinning at a high rate of speed.” “I like it, but it doesn’t sound dangerous enough.” “Don’t worry, we’ll also lay down some concrete.”

Giant Honeybees use a collective defense known as "shimmering" to deter wasps and other predators, whereby hundreds of individual bees flip their abdomens upwards in a coordinated wave-like pattern.
