The fact you can talk to IDM-heads and say “yeah idk I like Aphex Twin, Auteche, and μ-Ziq” and they’ll reply “legends” instead of rolling their eyes is a miracle tbh so I’m inclined to count my blessings here
GhostSnacksType4@GhstSnksSep 28
The IDM crowd never mentions Near The Parenthesis, Quench, Flaque, Mnemonic, Fibla, Mewark. It's always Aphex Twin or Autechre, u-Ziq.

it’s so funny to see it add self-shadows to the places the devs had clearly removed by hand…

Mario Kart World Running on Switch 2 with DLSS 5 injected into the live capture feed. In the video I turn it on and off at different points.

tbh who cares about manually colored face silhouettes and readability and palette… i just want shadows on everything. it’s prettier and funner that way

Anyone feeling this may find deep catharsis in Scott McCloud’s Understanding Comics (p. 169-184) “It’s a cycle as old as Art itself.”

I have said this before: Movie makers raised on modern movies are shit. Same for all media Pokemon started because the creator liked collecting bugs and exploring as a kid, not just playing other video games. Inbred Media. You can't make music out of all samples forever.

Spotify & UMG announce licensing agreement that allows fans to create AI covers and remixes of songs from participating artists and songwriters. The new feature will be a paid add-on for Premium users which will “open up additional revenue streams” for artists and songwriters.

Without exception EVERY TIME YOU PERCEIVE AN ADVERTISEMENT, IT IS AN ATTEMPT TO MANIPULATE YOU. Definitionally. It seeks to influence your behavior by various means including your emotional state I don’t just hate them I find them utterly profane & an affront to the human spirit
