As part of this year's #WorldBookDay celebrations we will be donating over 400 preloved children books in support of the charity @lonbookproject. Thanks to all our pupils and their families for their generous donations which will be gifted to local schools.

Our actors and musicians will be back on stage tonight after a wonderful first performance of the musical 'Chicago' last night, with hits like 'Razzle Dazzle' and 'All That Jazz' performed by a large cast from the Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Forms. #musical #musicaltheatre

A very moving Sung Eucharist marked the last day in school of our Leavers 2021. We wish them the best of luck in all their future studies and projects after Lancing. We wish all pupils, their families and all our staff a wonderful summer. See you all back in September!

Congratulations Laird Shepherd OL, (2010-2015) on becoming 2021 Amateur Golf Champion. Many from across the Lancing community watching your masterful performance today. @LancingOLs @LancingSport

A topping-out ceremony took place yesterday for the west end porch, when Jolyon Woodard, great-great-grandson of the Founder, laid the top stone on the new north buttress, 130 years after Nathaniel Woodard set the top stone on the east end of the apse. #chichesterstoneworks

We are looking forward to talking to our Fifth Form tomorrow about the opportunities of studying and working for a Degree Apprenticeship. This is part of 'My Future' programme, which ensures our pupils are aware of all options available in developing their own career journeys.

As some of the scaffold is removed, we are delighted to see new elements of the Chapel's west end being revealed. These images show details of the newly built south buttress now completed.

It was fantastic to see our cricket pitch in use again today for the first Boys' U18 fixture of the year against @BrightonCollege. The rain held and we saw some great play! We're looking forward to seeing some live sport played at the College this term @LancingSport

Behind the scenes of this year's Upper Sixth Leavers' photos. It is a traditional event in our school calendar - two very different photos, both marking a wonderful memory for our most senior pupils. #sixthform #leavers2021

Two o’clock: The Cambridge Quarters (aka Westminster Quarters - composed for the Church of St Mary the Great, Cambridge, in 1793), captured during the recent servicing of the Upper Quad clock mechanism, here at the College.

Tomorrow's PSHE 'Leaving Lancing' session is all about LinkedIn and Lancing Connected. Our Upper Sixth will hear about professional social networking and the dedicated Lancing College platform, where they can reach out to the network of OLs across the globe. #Careers #SixthForm

The newly created Explorer #scouts Unit held its first official investiture ceremony in the Chapel. All the Explorers received their coveted Scout Scarf and made their Scout promise. The occasion also offered an opportunity to celebrate the Unit's achievements in the past year.

We are looking forward to welcoming OL @masoncrane32 who will be talking via Zoom to our Sports Scholars tonight. Mason has recently extended his contract with Hampshire Cricket Club and enjoyed the return of fixtures.

Our congratulations go to Sir Christopher Hampton OL for winning, alongside Florian Zeller, Best Adapted Screenplay at last night’s Oscars ceremony for the film ‘The Father’. It is another important award for our successful OL #Oscars #oscars2021 #AcademyAwards2021

130 years since the passing of our Founder Nathaniel Woodard, his ethos and values still resonate powerfully today. He believed strongly that Lancing should prepare young people of vision and integrity who would be of service to their fellow human beings.
