BIZARRE things are happening. Are you paying attention? Here's a story that's freaking me out a bit, because there are other things that happened this week that made CLEAR some angels in my life were acting. Just crazy.... DAD has been at a LOT of this, because YESTERDAY was the anniversary of his death in 2004, and I heard his voice all day saying things that I was acting on before he began to speak to me. Echoes? And then today..... I think about my dear friend, Dr. Laura Lyons, PhD, every day. drlauralyons.wordpress.com/a… "Dr. Laura" passed away a few years ago. This woman changed my life forever. I worked with her at CalWORKS and Berkeley City College helping people understand how to tackle ATS software nightmares and create new job-hunting strategies for students seeking employment with great companies like Trader Joes, Facebook, Amazon, and other top US employers. Laura wrote a 1989 best selling book about employment, Lyons Guide to the Career Jungle. She was the first black US College Dean (Laney College), and an absolute legend at the UN and American Express for her work helping foreign workers get jobs in US companies. And she took no shit from anyone. Laura was also a pioneer in the Raw Foods and Slow Foods movements with her friend, Ann Wigmore. Today, while writing my new article - I was about to hit publish when Laura came to mind. I had to mention her, and went back and did so, but it got me remembering and thinking about Laura, so I asked AI to dig me up the info on her passing and her life. Turns out Dr. Laura Lyons died 6 years ago TODAY. The people we love never leave. They just look for the best times when you need them to return. This one's for you, Laura!
