😢 Russia killed the director and co-founder of the Kharkiv language school "Professional".
In the summer of 2026, Oleksandra Kazarovytska (Kolesnikova) went to Sevastopol to help her parents sell their apartment and move to Turkey.
However, in Crimea, the Russians detained Oleksandra due to correspondence with a volunteer that she had been conducting at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
For three months, Oleksandra was held in solitary confinement, where she awaited trial. Later, the woman's family was informed of her alleged "suicide".

1/ Russian commanders desperate to fulfil a likely order from Putin to take the Ukrainian town of Dobropillia before Christmas have released a video of Russian soldiers walking in the streets as 'proof' of its capture. It turns out to have been filmed 20 km away. ⬇️

Russia has fully withdrawn from the European Convention for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.
Prior to the full-scale invasion, Russia authorized the publication of only four visit reports from the 30 visits to places of deprivation of liberty carried out by the Commission of the Prevention of Torture.
Since the full-scale war started, there have been numerous reports of acts of torture within Russia and within Russian-occupied Ukrainian territories. Russia has not allowed external visits to examine the situation (Ukraine, on the other hand, permits visits to any place at any moment, according to the Commission's report, and reports from Ukraine are published automatically).
Thousands of Ukrainian civilians and soldiers remain in Russian captivity where they are tortured, humiliated and deprived of basic human rights. Russia continues to remain unpunished for its actions.

Meanwhile, a russian soldiers kills two civilians fleeing under a white flag. Their dog dies too.

Ua losses updated their count, methodology and map on Ukrainian 🇺🇦 losses in the war, following KIA, MIA and POW
Ukrainian losses :
🔸29k losses in 2022
🔸31k losses in 2023
🔸47k losses in 2024
🔸51k losses in 2025
🔸30k losses in 2026
The database is very useful : we have multiple units, WIA and POW, a map of losses and the possibility to track key battles of the war. The recent data is much better than the Russian one and includes MIA, which is the main difference with Mediazona's count of Russian losses (it is also less conservative).
🔸 ~2k Ukrainian soldiers died during the Kostiantynivka battle, most of which are MIA
🔸~4k Ukrainian soldiers died during the Pokrovsk battle
🔸~1.2k Ukrainian soldiers died in Krinky, Kherson oblast
🔸~6k Ukrainian soldiers died in the Bakhmut battle
🔸~2k soldiers died in the Robotyne counter-offensive and ~1k in the Velika Novosilka counter-offensive
🔸~8k Ukrainian soldiers died during the Kursk operation (all lenght of it)

A Ukrainian boy comforts his mom, Svitlana, during a Russian drone attack:
"Mom, listen to the sounds of nature instead of all this horror. Just enjoy nature and listen to what the trees are telling you."
"My heart is breaking. I'm supposed to be the one comforting him, but he's stronger than I am," Svitlana wrote.

These last few days, there is an explosion of the number of Russian 🇷🇺 soldiers eliminated as per Ukrainian 🇺🇦official sources
▫️Official sources shouldn't be taken as fully trustworthy, of course, but the trends are important
▫️For example, GSUA numbers of Russian losses in 2022-2024 are in fact very close to the Mediazona count (using a KIA/WIA ratio), which shows that they are still partly accurate
▫️These last few days, the number of eliminated Russian soldiers has exploded, even reaching 2 000 a day.
The USF grouping (only the drone army, not the UA army or special forces) claim they hit 11 800 soldiers this month, more than in August (and we are only on the 22nd). This trend is corroborated by both the USF numbers and the general staff, but why ?
▫️Because Russia is putting a massive effort to attack Dobropilla. They claim they captured the city and they send hundreds of men everyday there. In fact losses are much higher than in Bakhmut in 2023 (known as a bloody battle).
▫️All reserves from 4 different armies are being thrown at Dobropilla before the winter, because they want to wage a battle in an urban area this year, knowing how costly last winter was to just reach Kostiantynivka outskirts.

#StandWithUkraine️
🚨A Russian shahed attack killed 6 people, including children, in a park of Kharkiv on Oct. 19. "Pure atrocity", Zelensky said, "a little girl was killed in a stroller–her name was Angelina(..)#Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia"

C’est pourtant simple : une victoire en Ukraine ferait de la Russie la puissance dominante en Europe, capable de dicter ses conditions sur le continent. On n’a pas besoin d’envahir pour exercer une domination.

From Ukraine's leading newspaper. "This betrayal comes after one of the deadliest weeks for Ukrainian civilians. Last week, Russia killed more than 150 civilians in Ukraine. Just one of the strikes, on a bus stop in Kramatorsk, killed 33 people. In another Russian attack, in Pryluky, three one-year-old children were among the dead." kyivindependent.com/editoria…
