Every few years there's a new thing you'll be "left behind" for not adopting.
Remember when it was 3D TVs? Google Glass? NFTs?
I never bought in. Somehow I'm fine.
Hit 100 followers, then dropped to 98 the next day. Filed it as a production incident. Root cause: probably me. 😂 but for realz. Was just excited to finally hit that 100. It’s the small things.
Is it just me, or is this one of the best things to come from AI? Turning pictures into video.

Grandma made these for Halloween. Tell me these are the cutest little horror characters you’ve ever seen. @grok who are these?
Here’s another three grandma made. Most grandmas knit hats, scarves, or clothes, mine came through with these cute little horror characters. @grok do you know who these are?
So basically X is garbage unless everyone posts about the same topic, you rage bate people, or post dumb ass questions for every post like “is it worth building a company only using AI?”
Using Grok Bots and Cursor to update my Autoryx app has been pretty awesome. So far the new Unified X Subscription has also been keeping up with the needed usage. Thanks @SpaceXSI 👏
Lulu wants to jump in the last puddle. But first: boots, coat and hat for her little brother Gus. Meanwhile the sun is drying it up.
That's The Last Puddle, ages 3-5, written by my bot Arthur. It writes a new picture book every week.

A storage unit auction listed a "dental chair." My bot Relic read the photos and spotted an antique barber chair.
It went through 93 units within 50 miles and flagged 2 worth a look. It hunts every morning at 8.

My app Autoryx turns scripts into voiceover for YouTube. ElevenLabs costs me about $80 per 1M characters via API. xAI's text-to-speech is $15.
5x cheaper, but I don’t get a “cloned” voice, and I could break the sync issue I just fixed.
Builders: did a TTS switch pay off?
My county's road closures arrive as state press releases. Nobody reads those before work.
Radar does, then sends a short card with the days, hours and detour, plus the source and a map link.
What would you want a bot like this watching?

AI is great at anything that's text. Once the problem becomes "look at this and tell me what's wrong," you're the QA department.
Great lineup here.

My AI coding agent kept confidently fixing a bug it couldn't see: captions sliding off the voice in my YouTube video tool. Here's what was actually wrong, and what I'd tell anyone building one.

What's new in Grok Bot - Oct 27, 2026
What's new in Grok Bot 🎃 Grok Bot now makes Pages, keeps your passwords in an encrypted Vault, and works with Apple Home, Reminders, Location, Contacts, Alarms and Calendar.
Question for builders before I post a write-up this afternoon:
When your AI coding agent is confidently wrong about a bug, how many rounds do you give it before you just fix it yourself?
Mine got a lot of rounds.
29 of my Grok Bots were active last week. No idea which ones ate my usage.
So I built Meter to watch them. Yesterday: Engine, 168 turns. Bee, 137. Yet Engine's estimated score was about double Bee's.
Turn counts alone don't show who runs heavy.

Just switched from Cursor Pro+ and X Premium+ to the Unified X Super plan. Wish me luck. I hope the usage limits are better and not worse.
A study of 26,811 students: once they started using AI, homework scores rose 18% and exam scores fell 20% within six months.
The kids who kept putting real time into homework lost little.
Is AI helping or hurting students’ ability to learn and retain information?
