🧵1/Did you know that Moms 4 Liberty has a foothold in Maryland, and there’s a MoCo chapter? They inform parents about “CRT”, went to Annapolis to fight the Health Education Framework Bill & have an event about gender ideology. They’re vocal but NOT the majority of Maryland Moms!

. @ZimmermanforBOE is a passionate advocate for inclusive education and an effective leader. I’m confident her devotion to our children and commitment to transparency will make her an important voice on the MoCo Board of Education. She has my enthusiastic endorsement.

Thrilled that @DaveKunes is going to be a bus captain for an epic, one-day journey to help turn NC blue!
Trump won Nash County by 79 votes in ‘16. Biden won by 49 votes in ‘20. In this region, EVERY door knocked makes a difference.
You could be the difference. 🗳️💙

At SS United Methodist Church for a Board of Education candidates forum. Ready to hear from the candidates! @LauraStewartBoe @ZimmermanforBOE @ShebraEvans @Montoya4MCPS, Brenda Diaz (whose account I can't find), and a statement from Lynne Harris, who has a family issue tonight.
Woah! I hope all Firefighters and others are safe. This will be a new school, I also hope that it won’t put the project significantly behind. These families have waited a long time to get an updated facility.

Just wanted to give a shoutout to our amazing @ltgovarunamiller.
Every day, we work together to build a brighter future for Marylanders in every county of our great state. She's been an incredible partner in this work and we're a stronger and safer state because of her service.

The @MDComptroller had released the fiscal year 24 close-out report. Fairly good news with an unassigned balance (surplus) of $470.5m. This was largely driven by revenue above estimates.

The doors are officially open to more affordable childcare in our community!
Congratulations to @CentroNia on the opening of the new Martha Gudelsky Child Development Center at the site of the former Silver Spring library.
We know that access to high-quality, affordable early care remains one of the greatest challenges for Montgomery County families.
With over 71,000 infants and toddlers living in our community, we must create more opportunities for working parents to send their kids to safe, educational and nurturing environments during the day.
This new center will also create 40 new jobs, opportunities for local partnerships and space for community events.
It’s a win-win-win!

I was on the Maryland Women for @KamalaHarris Call tonight. @AlsobrooksForMD fired us up along with @SenatorBarb who told us to elect both the La’s! We understood the assignment. Dems REALLY need the Senate in order to protect Title 1 funds for schools - my special interest.
