In a new report, @hrw describes how in the early 2025, the Israeli military launched an operation that emptied three #Palestinian refugee camps in the West Bank.

@hrw finds that #Israeli forces committed war crimes, crimes against humanity and ethnic cleansing in the West Bank: they forcibly displaced 32,000 #Palestinian refugees from 3 refugee camps, prevented return + systematically destroyed parts of the camps.
This is #Tulkarem, one of the three refugee camps, before and after the Israeli operations.
Listen, Run, Hide. This is how residents in #Kherson live, under armed quadcopter #drones operated by Russian forces. One of the most difficult and terrifying visual works I have ever faced
Have a look at out new @hrw report:

These drones—cheap, commercially available, and armed with munitions including prohibited antipersonnel mines—have been used to attack people, homes, ambulances, grocery stores, and infrastructure.
This is the first time HRW has concluded that Russia is intentionally targeting civilians in Ukraine using drones—constituting war crimes and crimes against humanity.

How is Europe doing with coal?
Last month, the United Kingdom closed its last operating coal-fired power plant. This marked the end of an era, but not the end of coal – at least not yet.

guess it's my last week @axios , still a bit shocked and sad that half our team was laid off, but grateful to have learned so much from my kind, brilliant @AxiosVisuals coworkers // one last chart roundup of some faves from the past two years✨
ALT Collage of eight data visualizations produced with adobe illustrator, svelte, rawgraphs, and datawrapper. The visuals include a streamgraph, a cartogram, a small multiple beeswarm, a word cloud, a circle packing, a proportional area chart shaped like a room layout, a choropleth map and a dumbbell chart with a trendline.
NEW: Axios is laying off 50 people across the company. CEO @JimVandeHei just sent out this note — which says the layoffs are because of “changes in the media business”
