Just in case anyone needs reminding, Haegeum is Yoongi’s 1B goal track and THE SONG THAT’S CURRENTLY THE CLOSEST TO 1 BILLION STREAMS ON SPOTIFY.
And yet I’m seeing absolutely no movement from ARMY, apart from the same 10 small accounts constantly going above and beyond, creating and sharing playlists, and trying their best to motivate people to stream Rapline to 1B.
Honestly, I find it really hard to understand how people can claim to love Yoongi but barely listen to his music. Isn't music the reason we're all here in the first place?
What's the point of those millions of likes on his IG posts? What do all those trending hashtags saying "we love you Yoongi" mean when the streaming numbers suggest that music actually matters to, at most, 1.5% of the entire fandom?
First and foremost they are ARTISTS. Their music being appreciated, valued and loved matters. And please, don't tell me that records, achievements and recognition of Yoongi as a rapper, songwriter and producer don't matter to him. He's so much more than just your cute Yoongi Boongi or lil meow meow.
I genuinely believe the best birthday gift we could give Yoongi would be that 1B plaque. And we absolutely could make it happen if enough of us wanted to. Who is with me?🫂🫶🏼

Reducing Agust D to a single negative emotion invalidates the depth of his journey and shows how they have missed the entire meaning behind Agust D persona and the trilogy.
Seeing these narratives receive over 20K likes while streaming and voting posts can barely reach 500 is genuinely disheartening. Most of you seem to care more about hit tweets than about the boys or their music.
