Behre Gaming Gears "Black Lotus 2.0" Glass pad Review "This is my personal review and opinion based on my own experience with the Behre Gaming Black Lotus 2.0" The Behre Gaming Black Lotus 2.0 is an uncoated speed focused glass mousepad measuring 490 × 420 mm with a glass thickness of 1.5 mm. The surface has a very rough and heavily textured feel, which is immediately noticeable when using the pad. I’d describe it as a very fast, speed oriented glass mousepad with a very noticeable textured surface. The initial friction is very low, so getting the mouse moving takes very little effort. Small movements feel quick and responsive, while larger swipes have a very fast and smooth glide. Is definitely on the faster side. Compared to several other glass pads, including some coated pads, it feels noticeably faster overall. The speed is one of the first things you notice when using this pad. The surface itself is very rough and heavily textured. You can clearly feel the feedback from the glass through the mouse skates, so it doesn’t have that textureless feeling that some other glass pads have. The strong texture stays noticeable during movement and gives the pad a lot of physical feedback. I also compared it with the Hachiware Hanabi. As you can see from the image I post, the surface texture looks very similar between the two pads. However, the Hanabi has a coating, and that changes the overall speed and glide characteristics. Even though the physical texture looks similar, the coating makes the Hanabi feel different in actual use. What I found interesting is that even with this much speed, the Black Lotus 2.0 still has some stopping ability. It doesn’t feel completely uncontrollable, and despite how fast the pad is, it’s actually quite easy to adjust to, even if you normally prefer slower or more controlled surfaces. Personally, I think this pad works especially well for games like Valorant or CS2. The strong texture gives you a little extra stopping ability, which can help with more precise movements and flicks. Of course, how much stopping power you feel will also depend a lot on the skates you use. The main reason I would choose the Black Lotus 2.0 is the artwork. The performance is very good, but to be honest, I don’t like rough textured surface. Overall, the Black Lotus 2.0 is a very fast glass pad with low initial friction, strong surface feedback, and some extra stopping ability from its rough texture. For me, the artwork is the biggest reason to choose it, while the surface feel will come down to personal preference.

This "Holo Printing" is very risky, especially for older sensors. Even newer sensors like the 3395 and 3950 can have a lot of tracking issues, depending on the brand. Some mice with the 3950 sensor work fine, but brands like Scyrox and Lamzu can still have issues. Another potential issue is lighting. If you have a light above your setup and it reflects off the holographic surface, it could make sensor tracking even worse. However, if you play at night or in an environment where the light doesn't reflect off the surface, this may not be an issue. The design is cool, but be careful before making a purchase. Every brand uses different sensor implementations and tuning. If Statice tested mice from Pulsar, Logitech, Razer, Lamzu, etc., and confirmed that they all work properly on this surface, that's great. However, if they only tested 1 or 3 mice, that's a big concern. So, if you're planning to buy this glasspad, be careful and make sure your mouse is compatible with the surface.
