A large tank of fuel exploded in Akkar (Lebanon)this morning killing at least 20 people & injuring at least 79. The disaster occurred in the midst of a severe fuel shortage crisis which has caused long power cuts all across Lebanon, threatening most sectors including healthcare.

Tile installation, electrical cabling, and floor waterproofing are well underway on the fourth floor of the Rosaire Hospital thanks to a generous donation from @ImpactLebanon.

The refitting of the isolation floor by @lebanonneeds will enable the hospital to admit those in need of quarantine, such as COVID-19 patients.
