While a lack of hitting might eventually do in the Guardians (credit to the Rays), one of the great mysteries is what happened to Tanner Bibee.
I know, Bibee wasn't great, but he led CLE in starts/innings. How Matt Festa is more trustworthy than your opening-day starter needs an explanation.

The Browns had the ball at the Jets 43 with 4:20 left and the lead. They ran it out of bounds, had two balls batted at the line of scrimmage then the snap on a punt went over the punter’s head.
The level of game mismanagement was at a 2016-17 level. Brutal loss.

The 3-1 start was great, but this loss feels like we just took 10 steps back.
Hopefully it was just the rain that made everything look especially awful? But there’s some major issues regardless of weather…
The fact of the matter is despite the winning record, this team commits too many penalties and makes too many mistakes.
Disorganized at all times. Playclock always near zero, if not a delay of game.
And how many drops does it take before a leader tells Isaiah Bond to put on some fucking gloves?
