I could be wrong, but I’m not sure a wrestling show with two confirmed matches that could take place anywhere else on the planet qualifies as an essential reason to travel into a war zone.
The Rock, The Big Show, Kurt Angle, William Regal and Lita all appeared on this show during the Attitude Era.
#OnThisDay 1992: Chris Evans and Gaby Roslin were fronting one of the most talked-about new shows on television. Sarah Greene visited the presenters of The Big Breakfast, Channel 4’s bold new morning programme, which was produced from three lock-keeper’s cottages.

Scott Hall being asked if he’s a fan of Irish pop group B*Witched while sat next to Mel C, Nick Tilsley, and Sonia Fowler. I can’t cope with this.

Did nobody think to smarten up Scott that this was a kid’s show? He was such a rascal.

I’m absolutely howling at Scott Hall delivering a shoot interview to a room full of 11-year-olds in the Live & Kicking studio.

Only on the BBC’s Live & Kicking could you get a Scott Hall wrestling montage set to a Backstreet Boys track.

"They promised me loyalty, they promised me backing, they promised communication, that we get aligned. We spoke about the issues.
"But the promises, they didn’t keep.”
Erik ten Hag was "disappointed" by what he perceived to be broken promises by the Manchester United hierarchy — chief among them was the sale of Scott McTominay to Napoli.

This was shown on Sky Sports in July 1997. It drew 151,000 viewers the first night it was aired, and 286,000 the next day when it was replayed. Doesn’t sound a lot, but that was decent numbers for the channel.
