Burnham has the backing of a former council leader who is close friends with a heroin dealer who helped Dale Cregan; a fugitive who had killed two men then went on to murder two policewomen.

Why would we even consider doing this? It won’t curry favour the EU, they’ll just bank it & ask for dismantling of the UK’s democracy while demanding our cash for the privilege

Does he think people in this country aren't emotional now? Boy, he has no idea what's coming.
Rabid, blinkered #Brexit supporters are very easily triggered. This is because they've seen the reality of what they voted for (not good) and they realise that the emotional surge that led to the vote has vanished. For good reason. They're terrified their flawed dream is dead.

To give a bit of context to this, this was during the phase where Andy was trying to suck up to Corbyn, hence the Corbyn argument for Brexit that he is developing here. He didnt believe this before this, and he didnt believe this after he was selected as Mayor.
There is nothing socialist about a system of free movement that is used by multi-nationals to undermine wages. WATCH my Brexit speech today.

Anyone STILL citing the failed Dublin Agreement as the reason for small boats is fundamentally dishonest. Was trying to think of an “or” to add to that sentence but there isn’t one.

A peculiar facet of the legacy Brexit debate is that those who would have us rejoin couldn't really tell you why. Their motive is mainly spite for the people who voted to leave. Very few actually want what the EU was designed to be. They might want the trade and travel perks, but I'd be surprised if there are still European federalists around, and nobody sane thinks joining the Euro is a good idea. My question is, if you're not actually on board with the ambition of a European federal state, why even bother getting us mixed up in all that again? Are you seriously telling us you'd hand over fishing rights, regulatory autonomy, and billions of pounds just so you don't have to queue at airports? You really want Ursula von der Leyen making our strategic decisions? Do you really hate leave voters that much?

I don't like to call things 'gay', but this is pretty gay.
🚨 NEW: Labour has launched a Substack for voters to "hopescroll" "We stop doomscrolling on posts running Britain down, and we put the country on a new path... a place for hopescrolling"

Not really the suspect I expected... He's hardly Art Malik in True Lies, is he?
🚨UPDATE: Mohmed Ahmad Abdulkarim has appeared in court today for suspected Iranian-linked terror plot at RAF Fairford.

It’s absolutely disgusting what some social media platforms allow. How they talk about Lee Rigby and what Muslim men want to do to British women.

Liberal idiocy.
Hmmm. So 20% of our water leaks before it even gets to our homes due to negligent underinvestment from profiteering water company owners (the kind of people probably on Rupert’s Christmas card list)…but let’s blame immigrants. This is arch wazzockry of the highest order…

What Burnham said about FoM on Oct 24th: “Freedom of movement had very significant challenges associated with it and I spoke about them in my previous time in parliament. But, at the same time, it was a type of immigration that perhaps wasn’t as difficult [as now]. Revolving door migration where people would come and then go back is different. The balance of migration has changed, hasn’t it, since then? I think we’ve just got to have an honest discussion about those things.” The Sunday Times reported he was "making clear that staying out of free movement would not be a red line" for talks.

At this point we do need to see a birth certificate, as Badenoch has contradicted herself at least once.
For the racist little pricks who apparently need this explained: Kemi Badenoch was born in LONDON. She grew up abroad and returned to Britain at 16. She is now 46, married and a mother of three Disagree with her policies. Challenge her arguments. That’s politics. Treating her skin colour or Nigerian heritage as grounds to question whether she belongs here is racism. Have the backbone to own what you’re doing instead of dressing it up as patriotism. Britishness is not a whites-only club, and you miserable bigots are not its membership committee. And any politician who panders to that poison deserves contempt, whatever party badge they wear. She belongs here. Your racism belongs in the fucking gutter.

Chancellor announcing an ‘everyday fix’ removing import duties which “could save £21 a year” on marmalade, gherkins & boiled sweets is too funny for me to be mad at. What.
