Israel receives $3.8B a year, of which $2.7B must be spent with US defense contractors—a jobs program for a vital US industry employing Americans. $1.1B goes to Israel. Jordan receives $2B a year, of which $400M must be spent in the US; the rest is economic aid. Jordan receives more cash than Israel, yet Abu Al-Sayed never blames it for expensive groceries.

The Economist put the chart on a log scale. I wonder why they did that? Here it is on a normal one.
Dear @piersmorgan, let me know if this figure proves helpful.

Between 850K-900K Jews were ethnically cleansed from Arab countries over several decades after WWII. No one discusses right of return or reparations. No one accuses those Arab countries of stealing land and pretends those Jewish families and their ancestors are entitled to it. That is actually the norm for refugees after conflicts. Most move on in other countries. The one exception is Palestinians. That’s why the UN has invented a separate definition of refugee that only applies to Palestinians and counts people who have never lived there and were born/grew up elsewhere as refugees. Because the entire point is to use that framing to advocate for the destruction of the current state there, not to deliver justice or freedom for Palestinians. That goal and the entitlement that comes with it is the main hindrance to actual peace and self-determination for the Palestinians who remain.
If you want to actually understand the ethnic cleansing and apartheid in the Middle East, pls watch this short video. The numbers speak for themselves.

What Israel did in Gaza may well go down in history as the most humane and precise urban warfare environment the world has ever known—the very opposite of genocide. The entire purpose of a genocide is to push civilians into the killing zone. Think about what happened in the Holocaust, where children in line at Auschwitz were given bars of soap, where inside of the gas chambers there were fake shower heads. What was the point? It was to trick and induce civilians to get in to the killing zone so that you could kill more of them more efficiently over time. Israel has done the very opposite—warning civilians and then manning humanitarian corridors with its own soldiers, risking its own sons’ and daughters’ lives to ensure that civilians get out of the killing zone. We see two remarkable things in Gaza. First, according to preeminent urban warfare scholars like John Spencer, Richard Kemp, and Andrew Fox, Israel has the lowest militant-to-civilian kill ratio in the history of urban warfare. Genocides have extreme civilian-to-militant kill ratios. Hundred, thousand, ten thousand-to-one. That’s the point of a genocide. Here we have a militant-to-civilian kill ratio of may be two-to-one—not consistent not just with law of war violations—but much less with genocide. Second, and more importantly, all genocidal regimes get better over time at killing civilians. Again, think about the Holocaust. The Nazis started with firing squads killing 20, 30, 50 people at a time and realized that was too inefficient. Then they got these vans and filled them with exhaust pipes, and they would kill more people. And they said, “We’re never going to get to six million killing them this way.” That led them to construct these massive gas chambers and crematoria—the architecture of true genocide—to kill thousands and thousands of people cheaply and efficiently a day. Israel has done the opposite. Even if you believe Hamas’ numbers, the scale of civilian death in Gaza went down over time. Israel got better and better and spent hundreds of millions of shekels learning how to become more efficient at preserving innocent Palestinians’ lives. Again, the very opposite of genocide.

I had Grok run a quick analysis comparing the share of coverage to the number of conflict deaths in September at some major outlets… The results are telling. And I suspect that September was a much closer month than many others.
Current deaths in conflicts around the world. That one at the bottom is the "genocide" the whole world must stop by ruining Ed Sheeran tours and abusing Jewish kids in Golders Green.

Capitalism didn't create your need to work to survive. Nature did. An employer doesn't impose that necessity upon you. He offers you an opportunity to satisfy it through voluntary exchange. Socialism doesn't eliminate the necessity of work. It merely transfers authority over production to politicians or the collective. Under capitalism, you're free to change employers, negotiate wages, work for yourself, or establish a cooperative. None guarantees success, but the freedom exists. And here's where your moral superiority becomes particularly ridiculous. You condemn people for offering employment on terms others are free to reject, yet consider yourself morally entitled to dictate how they must use their property, run their businesses, and compensate others. You call voluntary agreements exploitation while presenting coercion as compassion. Your objection isn't that people are being forced to serve others. It's that they aren't being forced to serve others on your terms. And somehow, you've convinced yourself that makes you the moral one.
After reading the replies to my original post, I've learned that some libertarians have a much bigger problem than their understanding of economics. Their complete lack of empathy is fucking astonishing. I suggested that paying half your income in rent because the alternative is sleeping in a freezing car isn't exactly a wonderful example of economic freedom. The responses were an extraordinary collection of lectures about voluntary exchange, personal responsibility, property rights, and why homelessness is apparently just another consumer preference. Here are the five most common arguments. 1. It's voluntary because nobody is forcing you. Apparently, choosing between unaffordable rent and sleeping in your car is the expression of liberty. Sure, nobody is holding a gun to your head. But someone with $500 in the bank doesn't have the same bargaining power as someone with $10 million in property. A decision made under financial desperation is still a decision. That doesn't mean the person has meaningful economic freedom. If your definition of liberty includes celebrating someone's choice to freeze in their car, perhaps your philosophy needs some fucking work. 2. Just move, get roommates, buy a house, or sleep in your car. This was my favorite. One person suggested getting a gym membership so you could sleep in your car and still shower. Others recommended second jobs, roommates, or simply buying a house. Fucking brilliant. But what happens when millions of households simultaneously move somewhere cheaper? Demand increases, and those locations become less affordable unless housing supply expands. What works for one individual doesn't necessarily work for everyone. It's called the fallacy of composition. An entire housing crisis cannot be solved by giving millions of people individual financial advice. Yet apparently, sleeping in a Toyota Corolla now constitutes a comprehensive economic policy. 3. Government regulations and central banks caused expensive housing. This was actually a reasonable argument, at least initially. Restrictive zoning and excessive development regulations absolutely can contribute to expensive housing. But blaming government for every undesirable market outcome is just ideological laziness. Housing prices also depend on incomes, credit conditions, construction costs, land values, population growth, speculation, and investment expectations. Developers build when they expect sufficient profits, not simply because people need somewhere to live. Removing bad regulations can improve housing supply. It doesn't magically eliminate every other economic problem. An economy is an interconnected system, not a fucking supply-and-demand diagram. 4. The landlord provides a mutually beneficial service. Several people argued that rental transactions must benefit both parties because otherwise they wouldn't happen. Yes, someone facing homelessness might prefer paying half their income in rent to sleeping outside. Congratulations. You've established that people prefer shelter to freezing. But that doesn't prove the housing market is competitive, affordable, or producing desirable outcomes. People routinely accept terrible arrangements because their alternatives are worse. Individual rationality doesn't guarantee desirable outcomes for society. The existence of a transaction isn't proof that the economic system is working particularly well. 5. You aren't entitled to someone else's property or labor. And naturally, someone had to start screaming about communism. Apparently, suggesting that people shouldn't have to sleep in freezing cars is now revolutionary Marxism. I support private property, competitive markets, and private enterprise. But supporting capitalism doesn't require celebrating every outcome it produces. Property rights don't automatically guarantee affordable housing, economic efficiency, or an equitable distribution of resources. You can defend private property without treating human suffering as an acceptable demonstration of economic liberty. Now, here's what genuinely disturbed me. I expected arguments about economics. What I didn't expect was how enthusiastically some people recommended homelessness. Sleep in your car. Get a gym membership. Work three jobs. Move away. Stop complaining. These weren't hypothetical responses. People actually suggested these things. Imagine seeing someone struggling to afford shelter and immediately explaining why they should be grateful to their landlord. What kind of fucking worldview produces that reaction? Markets are supposed to serve human beings. Human beings aren't supposed to suffer simply to validate someone's economic philosophy. I'm a supporter of free markets, but I don't believe that requires abandoning basic human empathy. The irony is that people who constantly preach individual liberty seem perfectly comfortable dismissing the economic circumstances that restrict it. If your response to someone facing homelessness is to congratulate them on having the freedom to sleep in their fucking car, perhaps you've spent too much time defending capitalism and not enough time interacting with actual human beings.

Abdul El-Sayed, DSA, Socialists, and leftists want everyone to believe that “aid to Israel” is the reason Americans are struggling. The State Department recognizes 196 countries and out of those America provides aid to 177 of them. Here is a list of some of the countries the United States have supplied taxpayer money to for FY 2025. Notice the amounts of money the United States sends into the many different Muslim countries that El-Sayed never mentions cutting aid to. “ONE” Jewish state gets military assistance, not direct funds like others, and it drives them insane. Jordan gets military assistance and money. Yemen has the Houthis and we’re pumping taxpayer money there too. Boko Haram, Hezbollah, and other terrorist groups operate in many of these countries receiving US taxpayer dollars. In Sudan, Congo, Ethiopia and Nigeria, Christians and civilians are being mass slaughtered in a GENOCIDE and yet US taxpayer dollars goes there also. Sit for one minute, look at the chart below, notice all the countries, think of everything happening in those countries, and then all the amounts of US money. Now consider people like Abdul and Ro Khanna ONLY CALL OUT ISRAEL! Abdul El-Sayed and all the rest that make this argument are antisemitic POINT BLANK PERIOD!

This is one of the most comical ads this election cycle. Yes, Americans are chatting at the grocery store about how they can’t buy groceries because their tax dollars “go to Israel” 🙄 😂 nevermind the fact that Israel has invested 100% of military aid in the U.S. economy since Oct 7, and has also purchased over $1 billion *additional* in arms, according to DoD. Federal military aid is also prohibited from being spent on anything other than U.S. arms, so the line about healthcare is even more comical. El Sayed and his Islamist fans like Cenk Uygur want and expect American voters to be so stupid they never check. Not only is this ad insane, conspiratorial, and antisemitic — it is also flat out false. El Sayed isn’t for the people of Michigan, he isn’t even for America. He is for the Muslim Brotherhood.

CBC deliberately inverted the story They opened with: “Israel has closed off the West Bank after Israeli soldiers shot and killed two Palestinians near Hebron.” The actual sequence—that two armed men from Hebron drove up, got out of the car, and opened fire on the checkpoint, triggering a 20-minute gun battle in which the attackers were killed—was buried nearly two and a half minutes in. Only then did viewers learn about the large quantity of weapons and ammunition, Israeli officials saying the pair were planning a major attack on civilians, and Hamas praising the “high-impact operation” while calling for more violence. BBC, CNN, The Washington Post, and The Times of Israel all led with the attack itself. CBC chose not to. This is not neutral sequencing. Leading with the Israeli response while delaying the fact that the dead men initiated a terrorist attack is a classic framing choice that makes the aggressors look like victims—days before Israel’s election @brodiefenlon

It’s time to lay blame at Olivia Chow’s feet for the surge of antisemitism and hate that has defined Toronto since Oct 7, 2023. Watch this video and share. If anything truly defines her time in office, it’s this.
If there’s ONE video every Torontonian should watch before October 26, it’s this. Antisemitism and intimidation have no place in our city. Public safety matters, and @BradMBradford has made it a central issue in this election. Watch. Share. We call on France to exercise restraint when dispersing the freedom fighters on the streets of Paris. These brave warriors for justice must receive immediate humanitarian aid, and their safety must be guaranteed in accordance with international law. Failure to comply will leave us no choice but to bring a case before the ICJ, in close cooperation with that renowned champion of human rights, Afghanistan.
