We get asked all the time: What’s the right magazine for my PP or PPK? Here’s the quick answer: there are two main styles. PPK mags sometimes have a finger extension, while PP mags are longer overall. You can also tell by how many rounds each holds. #legacycollectibles #magazines #walther #waltherpp #waltherppk #quickguide #pistols #guns #handguns #historicalfirearms #firearms #history

This finely engraved Mauser M1921 “Bolo” was manufactured in the 1920s. After the 1919 Treaty of Versailles, Mauser introduced this treaty-compliant C96 variant with a shorter 3.9-inch barrel for commercial sale. This piece is all matching, carries “Double Crown U” proofs, and features elegant floral engraving, likely done by a skilled artisan rather than at the factory. It features oak-leaf and acorn-engraved real ivory grips. The finish remains excellent overall, with only minor discoloration spots. A beautiful, highly collectible piece worthy of any fine collection. #legacycollectibles #collectors #engravedfloral1920guns #mauser #M1921bolo #C96 #ivorygrips #collectible #handgun #pistol #history #firearms #historicalfirearms #weapons #guns

This rare Colt Model 1855 Revolving Shotgun is a 5-shot percussion repeater Colt produced from 1860 to 1863. It features a creeping loading lever with a rack-and-pinion mechanism for added loading leverage. The cylinder stop notches are cut into the axis pin rather than the cylinder’s exterior, a distinctive feature. With only about 1,100 to 1,300 made, these shotguns are extremely hard to find and a true prize for antique firearm collectors. #legacycollectibles #coltmodel #colt #revolvingshotgun #shotgun #longgun #rifle #weapons #history #historicalfirearms #firearms #guns

Celebrating the U.S. Navy’s Birthday! On October 13, 1775, the Continental Congress authorized the first American fleet, two armed vessels crewed by an 80-person crew, to intercept British supply ships. This date marks the Navy's official birth, a tradition Admiral Elmo Zumwalt formally recognized in 1972. To honor the occasion, we're spotlighting two Navy-issued Colt firearms with deep Naval history: the Colt 1911 and the Colt 1895 Revolver. Here’s to the U.S. Navy and its proud legacy! #legacycollectibles #navybirthday #colt1911 #colt1895revolver #guns #pistols #history #historicalfirearms #firearms #handguns #USnavy #happybirthday

Check this out: Walther PPK, one of only two known! Is it the real deal? This commemorative is possibly linked to the Zeppelin that landed in Minakin and captures the spirit of the airship era. Did you know the first air balloons were used in the Civil War to spot enemies and direct artillery? Fast forward to WWI, and airships, named for Count Zeppelin, were at their peak, changing the game for bombing runs and aerial spying. Back then, launching a Zeppelin was the ultimate high-tech move, like sending a spaceship into the sky! #legacycollectibles #zeppelin #hotairballoons #civilwar #waltherppk #WWI #airships #aerialspying #highupinthesky #countzeppelin #pistols #handguns #guns #firearms #historicalfirearms #historylovers

This is a rare and highly desirable Luftwaffe-issued Sauer M30 Drilling, presented in excellent original condition. Only about 2,500 of these combination “Drilling” guns were produced by JP Sauer & Sohn, making them among the most luxurious and finely finished survival rifles ever issued by a military force. Because of its commercial quality, lack of military acceptance proofs, and limited production, many believe the M30 was not routinely issued to Luftwaffe pilots. Instead, Hermann Göring, an avid hunter, is believed to have ordered these as gifts for distinguished guests at his Carinhall hunting lodge, including Knight’s Cross recipients, Luftwaffe aces, and high-ranking officials. Luftwaffe ace Adolf Galland even recalled receiving one during a hunting trip with Göring. The M30 Drilling was occasionally used as a survival weapon, especially in the North African campaign. This example comes complete with its original case, cleaning kit, manual, two boxes of 9.3x74R ammo, and a box of 12-gauge shells, making it a truly exceptional collector’s piece. #legacycollectibles #jpandson #luftwaffedrilling #military #huntingtrip #rifle #longguns #guns #firearms #historicalfirearms #history
