Understanding #DPI’s role in public health isn’t just potential, it’s execution. As infrastructure embeds into national systems, success needs coordination, governance & trust. DPI should strengthen, not fragment, health ecosystems.

This week saw the launch of the #DPIJournalism Fellowship for Eastern Africa hosted by @LetsCoDevelop & @cipesaug. This inaugural cohort of 20 fellows emerged from a rigorous selection process. They represent 9 countries (🇹🇿🇰🇪🇺🇬🇷🇼🇧🇮🇪🇹🇸🇴🇸🇸🇨🇩) in the region and who work across online, broadcast, and print platforms. The six month fellowship aims to close that gap by building the capacity of the media to cover #DPI in ways that create awareness and informed public discourse on digital governance.
