Was he campaigning? No Was he at a gang pad? No Was he at a gang fundraiser? No How is it hypocrisy? Ron Marks brother was on Black Power and there was never a suggestion he campaigned to the Black Power because he had had good judgement

I don't know if either have said they didn't meet with gangs as part of the campaign, only for footage to emerge that they did. But if they did then the same standard applies for sure.

Tama Potaka was then and is now a Minister of the Crown, a senior representative of the government Marama Davidson and Origin Kaipara are opposition MPs. Kerrin Leoni was not even an MP You're right that these cases are not the same. For the govt, it's much worse

I agree with Chris Penk's assessment that Arena Williams is a very talented Labour MP. She's one of the few who have put in the hard work across her portfolios. Oh and she's Māori! Compare her to the inept Willie Jackson, who's somehow ranked 5th. Is this merit? In my eyes, no.
