Can we please get the soft porn ads off playoff broadcasts, TBS, Fox, NBC, @MLB? My son wants to watch baseball with Dada, but how do I justify that when a half-naked women could come on screen anytime?? This is America’s Pastime. Parents shouldn’t have to worry about this.
Hey @MLB - wanna get more kids watching baseball? Maybe start with the commercials. Watching the playoffs tonight with my kids and here's the rundown: - Megan Fox selling ED pills in a red bodysuit - The scariest movie trailer you've ever seen - Sydney Sweeney in zero clothes promoting betting on sports Leagues can't figure out why kids don't watch. You don't need a Nickelodeon game. You're not the Savannah Bananas. Just show baseball in a way I can leave on in my house.

Never use Tether. Never.
TETHER CAN DELETE YOUR BALANCE. IT'S WRITTEN INTO THE CODE. Not freeze it. Delete it. The USDT contract has a function called destroyBlackFunds. It has been there since the 2017 Ethereum deployment. Here is what it does, in order. It checks that your address is already blacklisted. It reads your balance into a variable the developers named "dirtyFunds". It sets your balance to zero. It subtracts that amount from total supply. Then it logs the event. No function can reverse it. Once it runs, that balance is gone forever. The blacklist function names the address it targets "_evilUser". That is how the code sees you before anyone has proven anything. Only Tether's owner multisig can call it, on Ethereum and on Tron. A court can't. A regulator can't. When a government wants your money, Tether is the one that executes. Then comes step two. Tether mints the same amount fresh to whoever it chooses: a victim, a court address, a government address. Net supply change is zero. Your money just changed owners. The DOJ described this exact process in a forfeiture case filed in Massachusetts in March 2025, over roughly $9,016,612 in USDT. Burn, then reissue. USDC can block a wallet but can't burn the balance. Tether built the eraser in from the start. They keep promising you there will be no CBDC. It already exists. It runs on Tron and Ethereum, and it has an owner. Bitcoin doesn't. Exit with Bitcoin.

Funding cross cultural ministry is often difficult, expensive, and slow. Thanks to Bitcoin, @brilliance_labs is changing that. We demonstrated our Bitcoin For Missions lightning-powered funding map (🔗⤵️) back in April. If you'd like to add a CC worker to it, reach out via DM.
Today I'm joining @brilliance_labs to expand the scope and scale of their pioneering work to educate and build freedom tech solutions to the most challenging money-related obstacles to global ministry.

For Bessent to be right and grow our way out… Last 5 years: debt up ~7% a year. Nominal GDP ~5–5.5% Remove the 2021 spike and Real growth is 2–3%. To stop the ratio from rising with a ~2.5% primary deficit, nominal growth needs ~6%. To actually shrink it, closer to 7–8%. So we need to increase it 1.5–3 points faster than trend. How? They have to run the economy hot. The Debasement trade is on, hold onto your Bitcoin

So much of the ColdCard debacle could’ve been avoided if people used Sparrow on desktop. It wasn’t until I used it (~2020 a couple years after finding bitcoin) that I fully understood signatures, passphrases, etc. Very highly recommended 💯

Christmas Eve 2023.
NVK has gone out of his way to lie (or blatantly misread) our code to FUD a competitor on Christmas Eve, abhorrent as that is. Unfortunately we are all blocked by NVK so have no way to respond directly to him. The code he’s screenshotted (and not linked to, funnily enough!) is only used for randomness functions that do not require the slower but more secure multi-source entropy, I.e. side-channel attack protection. Seed generation has and always will call all three noise sources via common.noise.ALL, encompassing MCU, SE, and Avalanche noise sensor. You can verify this yourself if you’d like: New Seed Task github.com/Foundation-Device… which calls: github.com/Foundation-Device… which calls: github.com/Foundation-Device… You can see the first call uses common.noise.ALL, which includes Avalanche: github.com/Foundation-Device…

Duress passwords should have plausible deniability, nobody should know that you wiped the device, it should seem to function normally. Very poor opsec design.
First known US case: American charged for using a “duress” password Samuel Tunick, an Atlanta resident, is being prosecuted for allegedly giving border agents a passcode that wiped his phone. The feature comes from GrapheneOS, a privacy-focused Android OS. Entering the duress code triggers a full factory reset. This is believed to be the first time federal prosecutors have brought such charges. The incident happened in January 2025 at Atlanta airport. Agents demanded access to his phone without a warrant, saying he hadn’t yet officially entered the US. When they entered the code, the phone wiped itself. Tunick has pleaded not guilty. His lawyers argue the seizure was unlawful and that agents were investigating his activism against “Cop City.” The case raises big questions about digital rights at the US border. What do you think? Kimi K3 just fixed 15 critical security bugs that Codex and Fable refused because of “cyber guardrails.” There’s no reason to limit American models on tasks that Chinese models handle without issue. We’re only making ourselves less competitive.
I have a report full of security issues of a software I'm working on. Codex won't fix them because of Cyber guardrails Fable won't fix them because of Cyber guardrails Kimi K3 fixed them all. No restrictions, just gets the job done. This will end badly for OpenAI & Anthropic.

The US men's national soccer team is being subjected to the same kind of legalized plunder that defines too many divorce proceedings in this country. After grinding through qualifiers, earning their spot in the World Cup, and generating the massive FIFA payout that only the men's game can produce ($12.8 million in this case), the players are now forced to hand over a huge chunk of that money to the women's team under the "equal pay" collective bargaining agreement. The women didn't play a single minute of those matches, didn't draw the crowds, didn't sell the tickets, and didn't create the revenue - yet they still get a cut of the men's prize money while the reverse transfer remains a fraction. Yes the women are more successful (having won the Women's World Cup several times) but the prize is much smaller. Why? It reflects differences in global interest, sponsorship, viewership and actual performance. This is all under the guise of "parity" between "equivalent work." But in reality, it's more like subsidizing one program with the output of the other, just like the ex-spouse cashing checks from earnings she didn't generate. "Equal pay" sounds noble until you realize it erases differences in market value, risk, audience draw, and results. It disincentivizes excellence on the men's side (why push harder if your windfall gets redistributed?) and removes pressure on the women's side to grow their own commercial appeal. Like divorce settlements that trap high-earners in perpetual support roles, this policy treats men's soccer as a piggy bank for "fairness," not a business rewarding what fans and sponsors actually value.

🚨🎙️ Julián Álvarez on how Argentina treats Lionel Messi: “People think we take care of Messi because of everything he's won. That's not the reason. We take care of him because he has spent his entire career taking care of Argentina. When you share a dressing room with him, you quickly understand that he never asks to be treated differently. In fact, he's usually the first one to joke around, the first one to congratulate a teammate, and the last person to make anything about himself. That's exactly why everyone naturally wants to protect him. If Messi loses the ball, the first thought isn't, 'Why did he lose it?' It's, 'Let's win it back for Leo.' That's the mentality of this team. We know that one touch, one pass, or one moment from him can change everything. So if we have to run an extra five or ten metres to give him that chance, we'll do it every single time. For us, Messi isn't just the captain. He's the heartbeat of Argentina. Wearing the same shirt as the greatest player in history isn't pressure. It's a privilege that we'll be telling our children about for the rest of our lives.”
